While I recently acquired a new and beautiful teapot and set (a different one), when I saw this one I thought it was so creative that if it worked (as it said it did)- then it would be a lovely thing to look at and quite a functional item to have around. Plus, this is a teapot set and a maker- so you can do everything with this item. Although I thought it would be wonderful before it arrived- I was still quite amazed when I removed the large base for the tea maker and pot- the “woman” who would hold those items in her arms (the teamaker) and on her lap (the teapot).This item is the perfect size to put anywhere in your home- whether you choose to put it in the kitchen, the living room, or in your bedroom- people may want to “show off” this item- it is so lovely, or keep it in the bedroom- and keep this beautiful tea maker all to themselves. Right now, I thought this item would be best in my bedroom so that I could make tea for myself there right now. It looks so lovely on my table there.It comes with the top “tea making” pot (sitting in the woman’s arms, at the top)- which has a lovely handle that is gold colored at the top. This is the only part of the item that you kind of have to “put together”, with a metal ball you put inside, covered with a metal filter that you are given. These items are the only labeled ones in the box.The pot is as lovely as the rest- and has a rather large handle which is very good for gripping. All the pieces are made of glass except for the woman, who is a rather heavy base. I think this is a good thing, as the tea maker on top and the pot on the bottom are rather delicate and this item might not fare well if knocked over. However, the base (or woman) is rather heavy (but not too much) so I don’t worry about it.The entire set matches- and comes with six small cups. You see one of the six in my photos however the other five I packed away- only needing one cup for myself right now (as I am the only person who currently makes and drinks tea out of this item). The cups are as delicate as the other glass items so I don’t want to have the other five cups out when I am not using them. But if you have this item somewhere where you don’t have to worry about others bumping into it (like I do)- you may choose to have all six cups out, and show the entire set off- it is so unique.This is a top-of-the-line item and if I could give it more than five stars, I would. There are a few items that I have seen on Amazon, maybe around twenty in all, that I label “best of the best”. This is one of the items that I add to that very short list. I was amazed and quite happy with the quality and thought that if I had a person in my life who would appreciate an item like this- I would love to gift another one to them as I think it makes a wonderful gift (just to the right person).

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves it and the fact that it’s all glass except for the stand completely love it. I would buy it again.

This is a really nice tea set. Treat yourself to some specialty teas and sit back and enjoy. It is easy to use and setup.
