Insert into your shoe below the insole and the magic happens! These keep your shoe from flexing TOO MUCH, giving you more spring to your step and more of a rolling motion instead of a bend. Hard to describe unless you actually try them!

I broke my toe and I’ve been struggling to keep it from moving and this insole has helped me a lot.
Blondie –
I broke my “ring finger” toe which takes 6-12 weeks to heal. I was prescribed an expensive carbon insert for my shoe so I could get back to the gym. I found these on Amazon for way less money. They work great!

I find this product to be exactly what I needed!!!.

Great for broken foot
Kirsten Hall –
My daughter broke her foot and these have been great as she is transitioning out of her boot.

I had one of my big toes amputated this year and have new inserts to help with this. The place that made the inserts for me suggested I look on Amazon for these carbon fiber inserts to support the foam ones that were made for me. They suggested it because they would have had to charge me a whole lot more if I bought them through their store. They are supportive and do exactly what they are supposed to but I cannot wear them all day or my feet start to hurt. That is supposed to change the more I wear them so, fingers crossed, I hope that is the case.

Worked great for Turf Toe- helped a great deal

Recommended by my Podiatrist. Worked good for my fractured big toe.

I’m delighted that these carbon fiber insoles came in a pair. I suffer from Hallux Limitus, which causes pain in both my toes. These insoles help prevent my toes from bending while I walk or work out.I ordered a size 10 men’s insoles, and they true to size. I usually order a half size lower than my shoe size of 10.5 to ensure a snug fit in my shoes. One great thing about these insoles is their lightweight design. They’re strong and rigid without adding any extra weight or discomfort to my feet. They work well and I do recommend them.

I have arthritis in my big toe on one foot and a stress fracture on the other foot. These work great in my sneakers for the gym.

This is a very rigid and strong insole made with a thin carbon fiber sheet for various feet support. I ordered this one to help support my sole and it is very helpful. For some reason, this product is sold one piece at a time. Otherwise, I would purchase two. I found this insole is pretty thin and slippery that is easy to insert underneath my existing insoles in different shoes. It is very nice to help the sole to straighten during walk and it will absorb a lot of shocks to the feet. I have tried to test the rigidity and resilient with hand. It is bending but pretty tough (see the pictures). The size is right to the feet size.

So for people wanting to get insoles, these are not the typical inserts you see being sold. These are very thin, but are extremely hard. I normally use 3/4 plantar fascitis insoles in my running shoes, but these are full length, hard insoles that can go underneath the regular insoles.I think these are insoles are made for people that need rigidity across the entire foot, and not just to support your foot arch to alleviate or remove plantar fascitis pain. I’ve tried to use these and I don’t feel comfortable, however, I’m rating this product high because these are exactly how it’s described in the product listing and I feel for the right person, these insoles are perfect.

This is a nice looking support that seems to do what it promises. Very thin, but supportive. They will support the middle of your arch where it is most needed for some conditions and injuries. I had a very sore foot from standing on a ladder for too long in thin soled sneakers. I tried this insole and it helped keep my foot from flexing too much until it healed a bit.

Works perfect. Fits just like describe. Helped with some of the pain in feet

Exactly what they are supposed to be and at a great price. One thing, they seem to be more for a female foot. I wear a9 1/2 and got the 8 1/2 – 9 and was worried they would be too small. But they were perfect. Another thing, they don’t bend AT ALL, so they might be a little difficult to get into the shoe, not like bendable inserts we are usually use to. Happy with them.
B.S. –
I have tried custom made carbon steel inserts with the cutout big toe before and wasn’t able to wear them because I could feel the edges. These inserts are stiff and THIN. My foot cannot discern the edges and I find it oddly comfortable – and a relief for my toe. A carbon steel type of shoe insert was recommended by both my podiatrist and orthopedist. I’m glad I continued to pursue it and found this full foot insert. Note that even though it’s extremely thin, my shoe fits a bit snugger (noticeably where the toe hurts), so I’ve expanded the laces for the proper sizing.

I can’t rate these too low, because they’re exactly as described, but they’re not quite what I expected. These aren’t supportive in the way that other insoles I’ve tried are. They’re more like a split or a brace in the way that they restrict movement. They truly are rigid and inflexible. You have to make sure you get your exact size, because you can’t cut them into shape. They’re not too wide, so they should fit into most shoe widths. The material feels metallic. Each one can be flipped either way to fit a left or right shoe. Fitting them into an inflexible shoe can be difficult, so this is something to keep in mind if you can’t bend your shoes open easily. Since they are completely flat they don’t offer any arch support. With how thin they are, it is easy to place a second supportive insole over them. Wearing them alone isn’t the most comfortable, but it’s not terrible either. It gives you a flat surface to walk on. If you want something to prevent your shoes from bending, then you’ve come to the right place.

These are made of quality materials with good fit and finish. They have aided in mitigating the symptoms and underlying causes of my Morton’s neuroma. They provide a strong and stable foot bed for which my other orthopedics can work from. They do slip a bit if your other inserts are old, a little thin double sided tape works well in preventing this from happening. The firm but slightly flexible provides a spring like effect upon push off.

Great price for what you need

Fit and quality are good and they help my sore big toe.
Geraldine Wolverton –
Very supportive insoles. My podiatrist recommended this type of insoles after I had injured my feet. I like them.

Couldn’t be anymore happier with product!! Will definitely buy another pair.

These are fairly rigid carbon fiber plates that flex only a little, which are used to keep you from overflexing the forefoot if you have joint issues there, as I do. You know those insoles that are mostly padded, with arch support and a partial carbon fiber stiffener? This is NOT that. In the photo you can see I’m flexing the insole, and that takes a fair amount of pressure to get it to bend that much. They do have enough give though, to be comfortable in shoes that have some cushion. They’re absolutely flat, and you can see about how thick they are. Be SURE to look at the size chart carefully because you can’t really trim these. They need to be 1/4 to 1/2 inch shorter than the insole, so that they will lie flat underneath the insole. They’re narrow, so you won’t have problems with width, but try to get the length that will work best for you. They are such fantastic quality, I’m amazed at the current price of under $20. They’ll last for ever, rinse them off under the faucet every now and then and put them into the next pair of shoes. As a runner, I need some cushioning and arch support as most people do. These aren’t for that, but they are the element in my arsenal that lets me choose the amount of cushion in my shoes and other insoles, knowing that as long as I add these first, overflexing won’t be a problem any more.

Works as advertised! Make sure to install it UNDER the regular insole
Betty Boop –
The insole fits perfectly, but I had to get between 1/2 size to 1 size smaller to fit in my shoes.

Broke my foot. This item is perfect to help the healing process. It was recommended by my foot surgeon. It fit exactly as it should in my shoe no adjustment needed.
Margot E Wright –
Good product, worked well for my broken toe. Fit well in my shoe
Milo –
This pair cost less than what I paid for a single one that was basically the same thing. They had firmness to any shoe I put them in
Dana McKinney –
Purchased these to help with pain from hallus rigidus and found them to be very helpful. Would purchase again, very cost effective since you get a pair and not just one insert.
Nancy T –
I used this while recovering from a foot fracture. It allowed me to get out of the boot and have mobility of my ankle, while still keeping my foot stabilized. I like that there are two and they are reversible, so you can have two pair of shoes. I did use a small, 3mm heel lift to level myself out.
Camille –
It’s incredible how much of a difference these make! I placed these inside my doc martens and they help so much! I have hallux rigidus on my left foot and hallux limitus on my right foot. I feel so much more supported when I walk. Highly recommend.

Kindle Customer –
When you first touch them, they are suprisinglyvery hard. Great base for orthotic insole to have. I have worn them for over 2 weeks and can certainly geel the pain level in my feet decrease.
Donald S. Rice –
excellent orthotic for flat feet needing firm support

These were for my grandson. He injured his feet cliff diving. The doctor told him he could still work by putting these in his steel toe shoes

I recently received this “Carbon Fiber Insole 1 Pc, Rigid Thin Foot Plate Shoe Insert for Men Women, Support Turf Toe, Foot Fractures, Morton’s Toe, Morton Extension, Hallux Rigidus and Limitus – Alternative to Post Op Shoe” and it’s a VERY firm insert.Due to some recent foot pain, my doctor referred me to a specialist – a podiatrist. After my visit, several x-rays, and lots of discussion later, for one of my issues, his recommendation was “VERY RIGID INSERTS.” Oddly enough, this insert showed up as a reviewable item the next morning, so naturally I ordered it right away. The insert took a while to arrive, but that’s likely a logistics issue and has nothing to do with the insert. When it did, I was surprised because I’d forgotten that this was an order for a SINGLE insert (as opposed to a pair). The pain I’ve been having is in my left foot, so I’ve been using this insert to see if it won’t help alleviate some of the pain. So far, so good! I’m not saying it’s a cure for my ailment, but it certainly seems like it’s helping reduce my discomfort. In time I’m hoping to not need the insert, but if it proves to be beneficial, I’ll probably order a second in this size for the right shoe – these are reversible, so the insert fits either shoe equally well. The insert is very rigid and feels strong, almost like metal. But it isn’t – it’s carbon fiber. The insert is also VERY thin, which is great, because I have extremely high arches and it was very counter-intuitive to go with an utterly flat insert, and while I know it’s recommended that I have a firm insert, there’s also a need for inserts with enough arch support. This insert can’t do the latter at all, but it’s definitely providing the firmness, and because it is SO thin, I can use an arch support-specific insert in addition to this one. When I asked my podiatrist, he didn’t seem to have an issue with me using two different inserts as long as my foot/feet get the right support from using both. This insert fits my walking shoes perfectly, length-wise, but for my EEE width feet, they’re a bit narrow. I’m using them as the bottom layer and have an arch-support insert on top of it for the left foot (and no carbon fiber insert for the other foot). It takes a little getting used to the way they feel, but I’m pretty satisfied with the fit. I suspect the cushioned later on top of this one (from the arch-support insert) helps because the arch-support insert covers the sides/edges of the carbon fiber insert and it never touches the bottom of my foot directly. I absolutely recommend measuring before ordering as these are not cuttable/trimmable in any way that I can tell. This individual, reversible/flappable, carbon fiber shoe insert was priced at $9.99 when I ordered. Based on previous experience, this pricing seems very reasonable to me. If you’re looking for an extremely firm shoe insert that’s incredibly thin, I recommend taking a look at this one. I’ve been pretty happy with its “flexible firmness” and do not have reason to dissuade others from ordering it.Happy to recommend.
Maggie –
Great fit inside the shoe. A little bit of work to work it in but it lays flat and my foot does lay comfortably inside the shoe. I was pleasantly surprised as I have to use it for six more weeks!
Joel –
It was what i asked for. And it was of good quality

Use after foot surgery. Can order just one instead of a pair. wasn’t specified.
