This is so neat and surprisingly much smoother and easier to use than expectedMy daughter first tried with our own ice cubes before we froze ice with the designated forms, and got very inconsistent and chunky results, but once we made some of the intended pucks, that worked like a charm! It’s just a little tricky to get out, like I mention in the video we had to flip the container upside down and bang it on the counter to get the ice loose.We got a ton of soft, fluffy, powdery ice in about two minutes. The crank is smooth and easy to turn, no sore arms for usMy daughter loves ice and will literally eat it as a snack even in the winter time ?? but I know this will be on repeat use during the warmer months!Would recommend

Easily crushes ice to the perfect snow cone consistency. Simple to use and doesn’t take up a lot of space— which is perfect if you have a small kitchen. Works really well!

This ice shaver works exactly as intended, the result is a snow like texture that is incredible when topped with soda or special flavors you can buy in addition. It comes with three ice moulds which is necessary, I would say each one has two servings if you use the included catching cup. I plan to use this every day this summer, but for now I use it for an occasional cold sweet treat. The quality for the price is great, and I definitely recommend this.

We love this product! It is light weight, easy to clean, easy to use. Just one thing is you have to use the mold to make ice, if you use ice cubes it will not work.

Good product. Easy to use. Small enough to fit on the counter top but still makes a good amount of shaved ice. Fun to use with kids.

This is pretty simple to set up and you can make snowcones or Hawaiian. I said they call it here. It doesn’t come with any flavor like you have to buy the flavor though, and it would be nice if you could like have a few more of the ice moles, but it’s a nice treat when you’re feeling like you want something sweet, but you’re not in the mood for cake or pie. I’m trying to get mine to be just like the lemon ice you get at that Italian place I can’t remember the name but it’s really delicious but I think you need to add milk. Oh well still this is fun fun and easy easy to clean easy to set up. Doesn’t take up much space it’s a win

This thing works surprisingly well! It was limiting having one ice block at a time, so I used some similar sized pyrex storage containers to create more ice at once, which helped appease my kids thirst for cones of snow. The included dish is a little small if you have more than 4 modest cones to make.At one point, an ice block loaded off-center. It worked for a while, but then the portion sticking out past the blade held the works up from feeding more ice into the blade. I simply opened it up, nudged the ice back to center, then was good to go again. Other than that, it was quite simple to use.There isn’t a lot to the mechanism to clean, and what’s going through it is simply water, so not much to clean up. It also seemed well made with no flex while cranking away at ice. Not a bad way to serve desert on a hot day.

This has been so much fun to play with and enjoy. I had my 14 yr old son and his buddies all about the same age, making snow cones together. They had a blast. The thing I like about this unit over others is one the price. But secondly the quality of the machine. It doesn’t just create crushed pieces of ice it actually shaved it. I took a bowl and froze water in it. Having the smooth base to it and one chucked piece I think is what made it work even better. It did work well and had a great quality to the end result but the solid piece just seemed to work better. It truly shaved the ice and didn’t just bust it up. The unit is durable and didn’t break the first time we turned the handle. The only down fall I would say there is is that the bowl to catch it in as it comes out doesn’t really fit in afea very well. It doesn’t fit snug into the cavity of it. There is a gap around the bowl instead of it being made to fit the area completely. This allows for the ice to run over the sides of it and not collect in the cup its self. It did create a bit of a water mess to clean up. But beyond that I love it and we will continue to use it often. The boys all liked being able to make it themselves. My boys are teens but easily this could be used for younger children as well, may just need to give some adult supervision with the sharp blade. The blade has held up well and believe me the boys put it to the test. The shaver as a whole held up well and was easy to use. It is made of quality materials and doesn’t break easily. I was able to purchase the flavorings that are premade with the other shavers on the market. Aside from some muscle work you would never know it wasn’t done by a machine. This is a great purchase and source of entertainment for kids and adults.

This thing is so awesome! For the price I’d say this is a win! It shaved fluffy ice and no hassle when it comes to having to twist the handle. No effort at all! Assembly was easy and cleaning was a breeze. Definitely worth the buy and makes for a nice summer addition.

I love this hand-cranked shaved ice machine! I used this to produce shaved ice for the Filipino dessert, halo-halo. This dessert is prepared by layering sweet beans, ube, jackfruit, plantain, flan, etc., followed by shaved ice, a few teaspoons of evaporated milk and scoops of ube ice cream. To use this shaved ice machine to produce fine, fluffy shaved ice, you want to use a big block of ice (such as the one from the included ice mold). If you use ice cubes, you will get chunky shaved ice. For my halo-halo, chunky shaved ice works well.This shaved ice machine is super-easy to use. Open the lid, put the ice into the canister, secure the lid and start turning the handle. The shaved ice falls into a small clear container.One small but nice feature is the rubber ring located under the shaver. I bought three different ice shavers for my kiddo’s birthday party. I wasn’t sure which would work best, and the reviews on all of the inexpensive ice shavers were mixed. This one was our favorite of the three. This style shaver that has the ice puck—rather than using normal ice—definitely creates fluffier shaved ice. Also, this one came with a catch tray for the ice, which another in a similar style did not. For the price, it feels pretty high quality.

I didn’t want to spend a lot, and I have no space for another electrical appliance, but I needed something to help me beat the heat and this is great! It is sturdy and works well. It takes a little energy to grind the ice but I think any ten year old could do it. I’m going to try it on a block of juice today!

I literally use this thing daily ?? only critique is I wish it came with 2 freeze cups instead of 1 ?? but 1 will give you PLENTY
