I am beyond thrilled with this retractable phone holder. We are going on vacation to Italy and will be in areas that have terrible problems with pickpocketing. I feel confident my expensive iPhone will be safe with this device. I really appreciate the large LOCKING carabiner as opposed to the ones that can easily be removed. I was easily able to hook it through the metal loop on my purse and my belt loop at the same time, which is an added bonus because it also protects my purse from being snatched. The cable is made of metal which is much better than the phone lanyards that are a string or ribbon. It is able to hold my phone within a few inches of the device if I drop it. The heavy phone does not pull the retractable cable out very far when dropped which is surprising. The PhoneLock Pro attachment is super easy to install inside your phone case. I assumed it would be adhesive but it isn’t. It simply sits inside your phone case so it can be removed if you no longer want to use it or need to move it to a different case. It is made of very durable stiff material that I have no doubt will hold up even if pulled with great force. It worked perfectly inside both an Otterbox Defender case and a Casetify Ultra Impact case. It doesn’t interfere with inserting the Otterbox Defender case into its belt holster. I was able to easily attach a charging cord with it installed inside both cases. I believe this product is an excellent choice for those who are going into high-theft areas or those who just want to prevent their phone from damage from drops. I’m so pleased with this item that I will be buying a second one for my husband.

I ordered this for my overseas trip. And I am so happy I did. This was perfect for keeping my phone from being misplaced or stolen. I love the mechanical wire cable that is able to stretch out very far. The cable also prevents your phone from falling on the ground. I love the wide square ring clip. I’m able to clip it on different strap types. Which is the best thing for me since I always wear a different purse or bag every day. I was extremely happy with this order. I definitely would recommend.

It functions per the description, definitely Anti-loss protection for your most important asset! This is now an integral part of what goes on my person everyday. From the locking anti theft caribiner to the part that goes into the phone, the materials/mechanisms that this phone lanyard lock are made from seem all premium quality. The piece that goes into your phone case is a very thin but a tough material, sure to fit the majority of the phone cases out there. So easy to install, and the self retracting lanyard makes it so easy to use. The push clip is just big and comfortable enough for you to take it on/off the lanyard if you want to put your phone in a cradle or charger. I really wanted to remove a star because of the price, but if you think about the cost of the item it’s protecting, your definitely getting value for the money.

I like this more than I thought I would! Materials are high quality and seem very sturdy. Women’s pockets are more shallow than men’s. My phone often comes out of the pocket of my pants and I am so glad I found this. I haven’t lost or dropped my phone at all. Once screwed onto your clothes, it is firm and secure. It won’t easily get undone by itself. I recommend this!

I absolutely love the PhoneLock. It completely exceeded my expectations. It is well-made, with durable materials. Installation was a breeze, just needed to insert the little attachment on the inside of the phone case, and then hook it, and that’s it. I got this to use while skiing so that I don’t have to worry about losing my phone, especially if I want to take picture from the ski lift. I love how easy it is to attach it to my belt and tuck in a leg pocket. It would easily attach to a purse or backpack, making it perfect for commuting, hiking, or even running errands. The retractable cord is sturdy, smooth and extends far enough to access my phone comfortably. It’s lightweight and not bulky.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left my phone on the back seat of an Uber or taxi, especially after a night out. The PhoneLock Pro has totally fixed that for me. I just clip it to my jeans, and my phone stays right where it should. It’s super secure, easy to use, and honestly I don’t even notice it’s there. No more last minute panic or backtracking to find my phone – this thing is a lifesaver!

This is like a badge holder for a phone. The retractable cord does provide some tension when you’re holding the phone but nothing too intense. It does allow the charger to still charge even though the strap and ring stick out through the hole on the base of the phone case. I like that the piece that goes under the phone case is not permanently attached to the retracting cord as I’m not sure I’ll use this day to day but I probably will leave the base inside the case. It does feel a bit awkward when holding the phone and feeling the extra protrusion for the stap/ring, but you get used to it.For me the value is not from stopping someone from stealing your phone — i’m not sure it would really do that. It might or they might pull so hard the cord breaks. Obviously I’m not going to test it to the point of failure. However, if you’re taking a photo and reaching out over a drop-off — or over a boat/dock or or something, at least if you drop your phone, you won’t lose the phone it will fall and come to your side (or wherever you have the main carabiner attached to — I used a belt loop on my side).I was concerned that maybe the inserted piece would cause the phone to pop out of the case if I dropped however i’ve intentionally dropped it a few times and it’s been fine. I actually have asked people to grab my phone and look at a photo only to intentionally drop the phone as I “give” it to them — and the gasps of shock are amazing. Then they realize it didn’t actually fall to the ground. They instantly wanted to know what I was using because think of how many screens are broken because phones fall the ground. This basically prevents that from happening.Granted, it’s not the most fashionable thing to have a hook hanging off your belt loop, but for nights out (when you might forget your phone) or for vacations where you don’t want to risk dropping or leaving your phone behind — it’s not a bad idea. It also may discourage a grab and go on public transportation as well or at least buy you enough time to yell at the would-be thief. So overall I think this is great.
