Sun Visor Extender For Cars

I absolutely hate all the other reviews that say it hinders visibility—no, it does not. You just don’t have it propped up in the right angle. You can push it forward (if you’re tall) and adjust the visor to your liking so it doesn’t obstruct, but because I’m short, I have it as so straight down because my head doesn’t touch the ceiling. So from a short person’s angle, it doesn’t block or obstruct. From a tall person’s perspective, you can’t place it at the same angle and straight down like me, you must have it pushed out so you can see the whole front windshield.This thing is the best thing I’ve ever bought for myself, so good that I purchased three more for the rest of my family members. see for yourself!

These are installed on a Honda Pilot’s windshield visors. As you can see, the visors do not block much light, and the car is parked in the shade. They are also a little too limited. If they had been nearer the breadth of my car’s sun visor, that would have been preferable. When employed, the polarization produces a very clear image and functions well.

This visor extension is fantastic! It is simple to install and reduces glare significantly. Although I preferred this visor out of the ones I looked at, I couldn’t figure out what the zipper was for, and no one mentioned it in their review. Pulling the extension down to a certain level and locking it in place is a useful feature. There is now no room for the remote garage opener, according to one reviewer. As you can see in the shot, I managed to secure it to the visor’s side. No issue.

I bought this to help reduce the glare of the sun from other cars and also to help me see the traffic lines on the floor. So far it has really helped, it’s also very light weight and fits perfectly on my visor. It is a bit flimsy but it gets the job done and no need for sunglasses when you have this!

Just as someone else had mentioned here in the reviews I bought the passenger side visor and placed it on the driver side. The mounting straps fit perfect without blocking the use of the vanity mirror.

Driving to & from work has been a pain lately even with sunglasses on. Being short my regular car visor was not shielding the low sun. This shield cuts the glaring rays without inhibiting my vision. Perfect.

No more blinding sunlight early in the morning- Every driver should have one of these- It would definitely cut down on traffic sun delays

This is a surprisingly durable visor. Works great. Blocks my visor mirror, but I can buy one for the outside of it. Worth every dime. 25 min drive to work in direct sun. This is clear and effective. Glad I found it.

I had an old plastic glasses holder. I have broken a few and when I saw this thought maybe it would hold up.I am kind of blown away.Here’s the thing. This clip was wrapped like a piece of fine jewelry. Even the cardboard box had a little protective inner foam box…not pieces, but a glued together foam box to hold this rather impressive leather-look black jewelry type case. Lift the top just like a jewelry presentation, and there the clip is, all snuggled into a black velvet perfectly sized slot. This baby is presented like it wants to propose to me.The clip itself is heavy…as in substantial. It’s not going to break. It fit on the visor snuggly with a very firm grip. It’s not going to move around. The pads for the glasses are a soft gel-like silicone. They hold my glasses gently and firmly like they are valuable precious shades. The finish on the clip mimics an expensive shiny type leather. It’s much classier than the plain wire holding the bright red plastic with a piece of foam for pads that this has replaced.If you have metal glasses there is a little silicone bumper tab the instructions say will keep them from creaking. I think it will fall off and just become floor fodder, but they tried. That part is a fail in my mind. It fell off right away.Oh, yes, there are instructions, and of course they are written in miniscule type, but they are illustrated! When you lift out the instructions you will find a “free gift” of a glasses cleaning cloth. It’s a nice little touch.I had no trouble slipping the temples of my glasses in and out of the clip. Easy peasy. The silicone allows the glasses to just slide in place without a hassle, but it holds them firmly enough so they stay there.This is a Lamborghini level clip for my old Chevy truck. If I strut a bit you will forgive me. I haven’t had such an upgrade since the new tires.This clip would be a good gift for a person who drives a lot, loves their vehicle, or maybe has expensive sunglasses to protect. Or a gift for someone like me with cheap sunglasses in an old truck. Either way I think this item is super cool, and I’m pretty sure it will hold up fine. Having glasses where I can grab them is a safety issue and I am happy to have a secure clip.

I have to say, this is much nicer than I expected. It came in a really fancy box that I think looked like an expensive watch box. I wish I had a use for that! I took some close pictures of it so you can see how nice it is. It is NOT a cheap product at all, very sturdy, made of good materials, and nicely displayed. Pleasantly surprised with this, it would make a nice gift for someone who has everything.

I absolutely LOVE these sunglasses holders. It was very easy to put on my car viser. It fits snug on the viser, so I’m not worried about it randomly falling off. It’s also surprisingly easy to put the glasses in it and take them out of it. I can even fit two pairs of sunglasses on one holder.This product is a very convenient accessory that will help me keep my sunglasses in better condition over a longer period of time.

The material and quality of this is surprisingly nice! It’s smooth and the clip holds on sturdily to the top of my car visor. The sunglasses are clipped in good, they don’t move at all so I’m not afraid of them falling down. This is really nice to have if you don’t have a sunglasses holder in your car. The quality of the clip is good, it doesn’t seem like anything cheap.

This is a great product for me, a short girl. Even though I have a height adjustable seat, there’s often a gap my car visor doesn’t cover. This add-on visor fills the gap more often than not.

These worked great. Both left and right visors original plastic snap bars had disintegrated long ago, leaving a bar metal bar that was not fat enough to clip back properly. Once installed, these were perfect replacements and snapped into place flawlessly.That said… the install. As others have noted, its a serious pain. You have to awkwardly push the plastic visor parts apart to get the bar out, and then to get it back in again, all without going too nuts and breaking the visor.No matter how strong you are, this is nearly impossible to do with your bare hands as the plastic doesn’t want to do what you’re asking of it, and even if you do manage to pull it apart far enough you’ll find yourself in need 3 hands – 1 for each side, plus a third to force the metal bar into its spot.I came up with a successful way around this by using a pair of pliers backwards along with some friction tape (to help keep the pliers from slipping around on the plastic). This allowed me to use one hand on the pliers to hold the gap open, while the other hand pushes the bar into place. With some practice this made the process vastly easier. See picture for what I’m talking about. Good luck!

This visor changes the game with driving! Once the sun reaches that irritating spot where it’s too low for the visor to protect your vision but not completely set, that has been aggravating for many years… until now! This was very easy to install (there are directions on how to install on the from our back side of your visor) and it works perfectly! The bad reviews on here must have rushed through installation & not done out correctly. I put mine on & I love it, plus mounted on the back side of my visor it works and I can still use my mirror just fine. Good product, I even bought a 2nd to give to my dad!
