Hair Removal Broom

OK, this tool totally freaks me out, but I absolutely love it. I’ve seen these used in cleaning videos and always thought it would be nice to try one. We have two dogs, a cat, and a house full of humans who all seem to shed nonstop, and even though we vacuum daily, hair still ends up everywhere. So I was curious to see if this tool would make a difference — and I’m happy (and a little horrified) to say that it absolutely does.It was super easy to assemble, and while the pole feels lightweight, it’s sturdy enough when you’re raking. I vacuumed first, then used the rake, and was shocked at how much more hair it pulled up. Even our hallway runner, which looked perfectly clean, had a good amount of hidden hair that this tool dragged out.It’s both exciting and gross, but I’ll definitely be using it daily now. If you have pets, this is a must-have tool for keeping your home cleaner than you thought possible.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would! This carpet rake is hands down the BEST tool I’ve ever used for pet hair removal. I have pets that shed like it’s their job, and my shop vac hurt to get out on the daily —but this rake? Total lifesaver.It pulls up hair I didn’t even know was there, leaving my carpets and rugs looking brand new. The adjustable long handle is perfect for reaching every corner without breaking my back. I do wish the end of the handle attached better but it doesn’t detract from its carpet raking ability.Honestly, I don’t know how I lived without this. If you have pets and carpet, stop what you’re doing and get this tool. It’s worth every single penny and then some!

I happen to have two fully black cats, one long haired and one short hair, who both shed like crazy! No matter how many times I vacuum, cat hair always lingers— up until I got this handy tool!My cats favorite cat tree is beige, so their fur sticks out like a sore thumb and clings to the fabric with all its might. I would spend hours lifting the vacuum in the air to use the hose to try to clean it, to no avail. Eventually, I got a competitor pet hair brush made up of an almost velcro material, and it helped a bit but was STILL leaving hair behind. Thats when I resorted this brush here.This brush has been a game changer as a pet owner. The copper rake has a fine comb-like design, so it gets down to the surface of the fabric or carpet and draws the hair to the surface. Then, the silicone bit on the end has zigzagged protrusions that grab ahold of the hair and keeps it there. Since the part is silicone, it’s incredibly easy to pluck the hair right off and toss out! This is also unbelievable accessible and versatile. The only assembly required it gently screwing the handle, rod and brush together. It comes with several extra rods so you can make the brush as long or as short as you need. The brush also has a nice surface area so you can get a lot done in one go! I highly recommend!

I have a similar device that’s handheld only, so I’ve been down on my knees scraping my rug clean by hand – which means not only are my back and knees uncomfortable by the time I finish, but it also takes a while, so I do it less often than I should. But this carpet rake / cat hair broom made it SO easy to get all the cat hair out of my rug, I can’t believe I didn’t buy one of these sooner! My vacuum is also thanking me for not clogging the brush/filter with cat hair, since this gets up almost everything.While it has “deep clean” and “softer clean” options based on whether you use the side with the wire coil or just the silicon brush side, I found that I actually only needed the “softer clean” option to clean my rug – even though my handheld carpet rake was only the coil.As for ease of use, I’d say it doesn’t really require much more elbow grease than a good floor mop, and that’s my experience needing to get up cat hair that had been really mashed into the carpet. This is hands down my new favorite cleaning tool and if you have pets, it will probably become yours too.

I have three heavy shedding dogs. I noticed that even after vacuuming my rugs really well with my $400 vacuum that there would still be dog hair on some of my rugs. I ordered this to see if it would be able to get that left behind fur. It was easy to put together when it came and also easy to use. It does a good job of collecting the left behind dog hair like I hoped. Sometimes if I don’t get the angle right it’ll bunch up the rug but I’m getting better at getting the angle right more consistently. It collects the hair in a clump in line so it makes it easy to pick up, unlike putting it loosely in a pile like a broom. Overall this work exactly like I was hoping it would.

Doesn’t work as well as I had expected. Extremely easy to use, but comes undone easily, the small brush that comes with it I think works better then the big brush & the glove very cheaply made. I used it twice. Once on my cat, once on my dog & it didn’t remove any hair. I just threw it in the trash.Started as a 3 star review & im now changing to a 5 star because of their customer service.

I have been wanting to try one of these for a long time. I’m always kind of a skeptic about things. I was proven wrong! This carpet rake really took up the hair! We have 3 cats, so there is always hair somewhere. My husband tried it as I sat there in amazement, lol. I am attaching a before and after photo. You can see how nice the carpet fluffed up. You may think your carpet is clean, but if you rake after vaccuming, you will still get hair from down in the carpet. I would recommend this rake to anyone with pets that shed everywhere.

The VTOPVMAX Carpet Rake for Pet Hair Removal Tool is my new favorite cleaning tool. I have 5 cats, and LOTS of fur to deal with. Within the first 5 minutes of using this tool, I had raked up a couple of kittens worth of fur. Assembly is simple, screw the lengths together for your desired length and pop the handle on the end. There are 3 length configurations to choose from. There are two sides to use depending on the surface you are raking. For more delicate rugs/fabrics/furniture use the rubber side without the copper teeth. This worked particularly well for my area rugs that my Dyson won’t work on. The copper teeth were great on my carpeted stairs, pulling up both fur and loose carpet fibers. It also comes with a stick on storage hook. The whole system is easy to use, effective and quiet! I’m a believer!

I’m really impressed with this carpet rake! As someone with long hair, I was constantly frustrated by how much time I spent removing tangled hair from my vacuum roller. This tool solved that problem perfectly – it works exactly as advertised. Not only does it handle my hair with ease, but it’s equally effective at picking up my cat’s fur.It’s such a useful product that I can’t recommend it enough

Shocked beyond words how well this cleaned my staircases with plenty of cat & dog fur embedded and I vacuum too. I thought for sure this was a gimmick of sorts. How wrong I was.

This thing is amazing!!!! I have a blue heeler that sheds terribly. My rug is very low pile. Due to the low pile, the rug gets sucked into the vacuum and doesn’t get clean. This thing just arrived and I did two passes over the rug and got this disgusting mess out! I would recommend this to anyone that has a dog that sheds! Assembly was easy and it is easy to use!

It really makes cleaning the carpets so much easier!!My boyfriend and I both have long hair, but mine is real thick and I shed a lot, plus we still have one cat. If we didn’t rake the carpets first, we’d have to spend the same amount of time cleaning all the hair out of the vacuum cleaner roller. That job is a lot more gross and annoying than raking up most of the hair firstThis one, I’m happy with. It does unscrew a bit sometimes, but they all do that. You get just the right angle and it’s not as much effort. This gets out copious amounts of cat and dog hair and my hair.

Well!! I did not expect this to work as well as it does! As you can see from the pictures it scraped up alot of my cat fur! The listing says it works better than a vacuum.. which I dont agree with because a vacuum will also suck up the dander -however for fur it works great!Its easy to put together and easy to use. Instructions are very clear although its pretty self explanatory. Great value for the cost – Id get one for all my kids!

Two dogs and vacuum killing layers of hair have finally met their match! It’s a lot of work (so is vacuuming it) but I got to see the original color of our carpet today! Plus, I didn’t have to take my vacuum apart to remove wound-up, clogged-up dog hair and empty the canister 3 times per room!This is definitely a keeper!
