I use a stool when I’m doing outdoor gardening. It’s a nice way to take a break. It was easy to put together and so far as well made.

Love the convenience of the size!!!

Sitting on it as I write this review. I bought this to put in the trunk of my Goldwing along with my other camping gear. When I’m 2k miles away from home I’d like to pop this out and take a seat whenever and wherever I want. It truly makes the world a more comfortable place to be in. Works like it should. Great product, great design??

Has a zipper carry bag and is very easy to set up. Good price. But has two drawbacks: 1. it’s hard to dissemble and put it back to the bag. 2. there is some rust dust in the bag, making me believe that some parts are exposed to moisture and can rust.

Took me a minute to figure out how to unfold it into a chair, and once done it only stands a few inches off the ground. But it holds my weight and keeps my tush off the ground. And I can fold it up and put it in my back pocket once done. Prefect to keep in the truck for when you go to a picnic or just to have a extra seat when camping.

Bought this to carry in my back pack with my collapsible cane. It’s VERY sturdy. it’s light and compact. I do have problems collapsing it…both my hand strength and process of twisting the metal beams cause challenges. Good for Disney lines.
Kara Harlan –
Not real presses with this. Not real sturdy and so hard to collapse to put back I’m case.
Venus S. –
This chair is compact, only weighing 1.6 lbs. The seat is also the storage package. Only advise I have is pay close attention to how it unfolds, as it does not come with instructions. You may have to refer to the product on line.

For the price they are great. Super light weight, easy to assemble and fold up once you figure it out initially, and I like that the seat fabric is the packaging/bag. It’s pretty small, but if you have decent knees you will be fine. Works as a leg rest nicely as well as a small stool/chair. pretty sturdy and well built. Have not tested the weight capacity but I can say it can for sure seat up to 200lbs so far.

Love the fold ability!!
Jane Fairchild –
Super compact and easy to unfold. Love how it comes in a neat little zippered pouch. Takes up very little space . Good size for adult use.

Compact folding stool that’s about the size of 1/2 a letter size length. Its quick to disassemble but requires a technique to close. Learn the technique or pay attn to how it opens to put it back together. It’ll fit in a bag easily, great for places where you don’t wat to sit on the dirty or rocky floor. It has no backing, just a small tool to sit on top and fold back together to store. It does lay flat so stores easily in a purse or bag.Metal and twist doesn’t fold up nicely like my other expensive camp gear.I wouldn’t use this if you’re really tall and over 200. It works for for small individuals.

This is the smallest, most portable, lightest chair/stool I’ve ever seen: the dimensions and images in the product description are accurate. (A carry handle would make it even better.) Opened, it feels solid. I weigh about 200 lb and am not worried it’ll collapse, but my butt extends over it a bit. The description says it’ll hold up to 440 lb; I can’t dispute that by testing but would be utterly surprised if it were accurate. The stool expands easily; the rods practically snap themselves together. Collapsing it, however, is another story: though I easily pull the rod segments apart, it took a while before I could get them to fit well enough into the canvas to zip back up. This is the only chair I can put in a backpack. It’s handy to have along to use at unplanned times.

This is a clever stool! I love how compact and portable it is, it fits neatly into the palm of your hand. The stool itself sets up and breaks down in seconds, and you have a handy place to sit whenever you need one. I bought it to take camping with me, and I’ve been using as a seat, a stool, a footrest, a small table, and it’s been great! It’s really handy and well-designed. I especially love how the carrying bag doubles as the stool seat cover – this is brilliant! No more lost bags. A great addition to camp.

Great portable chair. Pops out ready to use. I’ve used it at the soccer field. Pickleball court. Baseball. Easy to go.How ever. It is hard to put the little guy back in the back. It’s an all in one unit. The case it is in, is what you sit on. Clever. But you really need a little patience pulling it apart and putting it back in to zip back up.
Customer Review –
I like that this is small enough to carry in a large purse. For those instances where you find yourself in an unexpected long line, it will be a lifesaver. I went to the park and there were no available seats. I pulled this out and was good-to-go. It has no back support so I would not sit for extended periods.
Isai sapien –
It’s neat how the carrying case is the seat. It supports my 240lbs well, but the legs are not the easiest to pack back up. They aren’t impossible to pack, so that’s why I gave this 4 stars.
Dee –
This is convenient and easy to carry when out and about. It is a bit trickier to fold but that’s not a deal breaker for me.
RN –
It’s very compact. Very easy to fold and unfold once you get the hang of it. Feels fairly sturdy. It’s not the most comfortable but great for short term sitting
writetome –
Very compact, portable and lightweight to carry around. Seems pretty durable.
The Mad Squirrel –
So got this to put next to my chair at events. Makes a great place to sit my lunch box. Kinda small but it works in a camping type setting as well. Folds nicely and unfolds easily.
Newly Minted Math Nerd –
Overall I’m pretty happy with this little collapsible camping stool. Its very lightweight and easy to carry around or just keep stored in the trunk. I’ve taken this out while fishing and its pretty comfortable even after a few hours. The only complaint, and biggest, is this chair is a pain to collapse back into the case. I’ve done it multiple times now and I still can’t really get the hang of it. It doesn’t want to fold back into the case when you twist the legs on the first try. You just have to keep wrestling with it until it somehow works.
Debbie –
I love it. The collapsible leg make is so compact. It can fit in a backpack. Very sturdy. A great invention
AznJunkie –
I got this primarily as a foot stool for a camping chair. It will also work in a pinch as an extra chair, but it’s a bit low to the ground. Once packed up, it takes up little space, so that’s a plus. However, I did knock a star for not having instructions to close it back into the case. It’s kind of a bear to put back in. I had to have a friend help me wrestle it in there. I think it will get easier the more I use it, and I’ll learn its little trick to get it back in there. Still happy with it as a functional and space-saving stool

When I ordered this, I fully intended to use it as a footstool or side table when camping or picnicking. I already have a good, lightweight camp chair that I am happy to take with me everywhere, but I never have anywhere to put my feet or my plate when I am eating. This stool is great for my intended purpose, and one thing I love about it is that it fits easily into my bicycle basket, so I can take it with me when I’m cycling.I personally don’t think it would be comfortable for long periods of time for just sitting, in part because it has no back support. But as a side table or footstool it is great. Keep in mind if you use it as a table that whatever you put on it has to have some structure – I have a titanium plate and bowl set that works well. But a wine glass or something similar could be wobbly.
Transplan Tennesseean –
I took this with me to 4 day music festival and it did a great job. Honestly I was a little worried initially because I’m a bigger girl but it had with zero issues holding me, and allowed me to jam to the music without killing my back and feet. My only real criticism is that the bars dig into you after a while but that’s to be expected if you’re sitting on it for longer than 30 minutes. Also pleasant side note it can fit about 10 shooters in it when collapsed if you’re interested.
LeAnne Simon –
It works as intended. Downside is it doesn’t come with instructions on how to break it back down into it’s carrycase. My brain needs a visual and it isn’t provided. But it’s handy that my daughter uses it to sit in front of me while I do her hair. So far pretty good quality!
Francesca huggins –
I weigh like 260 and this still held up for a four hour show.
Mysti van Hoose –
So beautiful! It looks so valuable and no one will ever guess the price. It fits perfectly and looks fantastic with real jewelry. I’m so happy I purchased it.
chia –
We love it. We use it all the time to go camping.
Sailor Charlie –
Nice compact size. Took a while for me to figure out how to unfold it and then fold it back again but it does work as advertised. The seat is really sturdy.

We purchased for our motor home. Indoors and out, they are wonderful

This is a very convent portable folding stool. Folded up it’s very compact and light weight making it easy to take it with you. Deployment is fairly quick and disassembly to get it back into the carrying case is just as quickMy family and I are small people (all under 5’ 5” and under 165lbs) and this stool had no problem supporting our weight. It feels fairly sturdy but I’m not sure about the claim of supporting 440lbs. Since we’re short people, we had no issue with the height, but taller folks may find the stool too low for them. Also you need to be mindful of the legs and ensure they are the correct X position as there is no way to lock the legs in the X position. Also there is no padding on this stool so there’s no cushion. This portable folding stool is perfect for the beach, camping, outdoors, etc. For our needs this portable folding stool is prefect and I plan on getting another one.

Perfect for my outdoor footstool

I really wanted to love the portable camping stool from the Sunpro Store. The first time I opened it, I was impressed how it popped together very quickly. Then I had a difficult time trying to put it back in the bag as I had not watched the video to see how it was done. After watching the video, I discovered the key factors that make folding it up easier. However even for my mechanical mind, it was not easy. For testing, I spent 40 minutes with the chair by opening, sitting, standing and folding up the chair and doing it all again and again. Overall my thoughts are it is just okay for me with my mechanical knowledge. I definitely see how others could have difficulty with this stool. The design is neat how the canvas top becomes the bag. As it is only 12 inches high, it is better for shorter people or kids. However I don’t think a kid would be able to close this chair by themselves. I weigh 145 and I could see the effects of my multiple quick-rough uses in the short time. The frame got a bit warped which was mostly caused by the times the frame legs were improperly put together before sitting. One should carefully inspect the legs after assembling as this error could cause a collapse on any folding chair. Supposedly it is rated for 400 pounds, I also can’t imagine such a large body on such a little chair.I have put it in my backpack for festivals along with another folding stool that I have. However I will be sure I am the one using this Sunpro stool and leave the other for my wife as this one is more picky for assembling/disassembly.

Small and exquisite, very practical, very convenient to carry with you

I got this because I’m trying to get back into hiking, but I fatigue easily and there’s never a good place to sit on most of the hiking trails in my area. This is compact enough when folded up that it’s easy to carry or put in a backpack, and holds my hefty weight quite well. It’s also pretty easy to clean since the legs are made of painted metal and the bag/seat seems somewhat water resistant. At $13 (when I ordered) this is a great deal! The only challenge is that it took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to fold it up after I initially unfolded it. The trick is making sure that you pull all the sections out far enough where you can see the black elastic bands before you twist and fold. I know I say this in a lot of my reviews, but I wish this came in nicer colors. Black and beige are so banal and uninteresting. Let’s get some pink up in here!
Khai Vang –
This stool is ideal for petite people or kids. I’m 170 and wanted something sturdier but this is easy to setup, store, fits easily in a book bag and lightweight.
Melinda Martin –
So compact! I got this to take on a mission trip since I was still recovering from an ankle injury, I wanted to have an option to sit while out and about, if I needed to. I was worried because I am not a small woman. I was afraid it wouldn’t hold my weight but it did.Came in handy. Loved it.
GeeBeeTee –
Sturdy for the size. I use it for softball tournaments when I don’t want to carry my bigger folding chair. It opens and closes easily. It’s not the most comfortable for long periods of time but it works for shorter spans
